Local Data Tools publishes a utility only when it solves a specific data task, works without an account, and produces a result that is useful outside this website.

Selection rules

• The user must have a clear job to complete.
• The tool must provide a meaningful result, not a decorative form.
• Core behavior must work locally in the browser.
• The topic must be low risk and must not require professional advice.
• The workspace must include the conventional controls users expect for that format.
• The page must explain format limits without burying the tool under generic prose.

Release checks

Before a tool stays in the public collection, its main path, validation, copy or download action, mobile layout, metadata, internal links, and structured data are checked. Automated tests protect the public URL list and sitemap from accidental expansion.

Update policy

We update a tool when user evidence or testing reveals a real problem. We do not publish daily pages merely to make the site look active. A tool that cannot earn or retain its place in the focused collection can be improved, merged, or removed.
